The Immigration Practice Advisory

Strategic guidance for the cases you’re handling and the immigration practice you’re building.

Immigration law is complex, constantly changing, and full of cases where the answer is rarely as simple as finding the right form or regulation.

Sometimes you need another experienced immigration lawyer to review the full picture, identify the issues you may be missing, and help you determine the strongest way forward.

The Immigration Practice Advisory gives attorneys and DOJ-accredited representatives direct access to Attorney Bianca Jordan for thoughtful case strategy and practical guidance grounded in sixteen years of immigration experience.

Whether you need support navigating one complicated matter or an ongoing advisor for your cases and your practice, you do not have to figure everything out by yourself.

Two Ways to Work Together

Case Strategy Partnership - $1200

The Case Strategy Partnership is designed for lawyers and accredited representatives who want an experienced immigration attorney consulting with them throughout a defined stage of a case.

We begin with a comprehensive review of the facts, procedural and immigration history, potential risks, and available options. From there, we develop a strategy and continue working together as the case progresses.

Depending on the matter, your partnership may include:

  • An initial case review and strategy session

  • A written roadmap outlining potential options, risks, and next steps

  • Scheduled strategy calls throughout the engagement

  • Guidance regarding evidence and case preparation

  • Review of significant filings or responses

  • Preparation for interviews, hearings, or other major case developments

  • Limited access for questions between scheduled meetings

Each engagement covers a clearly defined stage or period so that you know exactly what support is included. Pricing is provided as a flat fee based on the complexity and anticipated scope of the matter.

Your firm remains counsel or representative of record and retains responsibility for all final decisions, filings, deadlines, and communications with the client.

Ongoing Practice Advisory - $3000

The Ongoing Practice Advisory is for immigration lawyers and accredited representatives who want more than occasional help with a difficult case. You want an experienced advisor who understands the legal work and the business required to build a sustainable immigration practice.

Through a monthly advisory relationship, you can bring multiple cases, strategic questions, and practice-development decisions to our conversations.

Depending on your needs, we may work on:

  • Strategy for active immigration cases

  • Identifying inadmissibility, removability, or eligibility issues

  • Evaluating potential forms of relief

  • Strengthening consultations and client screening

  • Determining which cases your practice should accept

  • Developing clearer services and fee structures

  • Positioning your firm in a crowded market

  • Creating marketing that sounds like you and attracts the clients you actually want

  • Improving your intake and client experience

  • Using technology and AI more effectively within your practice

The advisory includes recurring private meetings, support across a defined number of matters, and limited access between calls. Engagements begin with a three-month commitment and are billed at a flat monthly fee. After the initial three months, the advisory continues month-to-month, and you may cancel at any time.

TESTIMONIALS

What This Is

The Immigration Practice Advisory may be a good fit if you:

  • Already handle immigration cases but want a trusted second set of eyes on complex cases

  • Are adding immigration law to your existing practice

  • Want to strengthen your issue spotting and case analysis

  • Have reached the limits of what listservs, Facebook groups, and scattered CLEs can provide

  • Want guidance that considers the full case rather than answering one isolated question

  • Are building an immigration practice and need help with both legal strategy and business development

  • Value direct, honest feedback and are serious about practicing immigration law well

This work is available to attorneys and DOJ-accredited representatives. It is not a substitute for foundational legal education, and participants should have the authority and competence required to handle the matters they accept.

Why I Created This

Most lawyers are never taught how to practice immigration law. It’s one of the most complex areas of law in the United States, but since it’s not tested on the bar exam, few law schools offer this course in their educational programs, leaving many attorneys to piece together knowledge from scattered and unreliable sources.

I was fortunate to begin practicing immigration law through my law school’s year-long Immigration Law Clinic, where I represented real clients as a Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court § 3:03 Certified Student Attorney. My first case involved a fifteen-year-old seeking Special Immigrant Juvenile Status. We won, and he received his green card.

I have been doing this work ever since.

I created The Immigration Practice Advisory because I want more lawyers and accredited representatives handling immigration matters thoughtfully, identifying the issues before they become problems, and serving their clients well.

I had a really positive experience working with Bianca. The coaching session was incredibly helpful and gave me practical strategies that I have already implemented and I’m already seeing positive results.

Her experience and knowledge helped me identify areas where I could improve, avoid potential mistakes, and make the necessary corrections to position my business for greater growth and success.

I’m truly grateful for her guidance and expertise, and I’m looking forward to sitting down with her again for another session. I highly recommend Bianca to anyone looking for knowledgeable, practical, and impactful business coaching!

About Bianca Jordan

Attorney Bianca Jordan has worked in immigration law for sixteen years, and founded her law firm, Brazen Legal in 2014.

Throughout her career, she has represented clients before USCIS, EOIR, and the Department of State in family-based, humanitarian, citizenship, and removal matters. She has taught immigration law to attorneys, and has advised other professionals in areas such as family law, trusts and estates, and criminal defense, whose work intersects with the immigration system.

Bianca has appeared as an immigration expert on national news, spoken at regional and national conferences held by the American Immigration Lawyers Association, and taught at colleges and universities across the country.

She also brings twelve years of firsthand experience building and marketing a fully virtual, flat-fee law firm. Through her use of social media, technology, and straightforward legal education, she has built a community of more than 100,000 people who trust her immigration guidance.

The Immigration Practice Advisory brings those experiences together: legal judgment, practical case strategy, and an understanding of what it takes to build a recognizable brand and sustainable immigration practice.

I am in the process of launching my contract-based legal writing practice and was struggling with "new lawyer" syndrome and proper marketing of my services. My conversation with Bianca was the vote of confidence that helped me with organizing and structuring my next move(s). Sometimes a voice can be a powerful force in the trajectory of one's future. If you need some guidance or do not know where to start in your journey, I recommend reaching out to Bianca today!
